About these terms
These terms apply when you use portage.agency and when you hire Portage, a small independent advertising agency in Toronto, Ontario. If you hire us, the package and price we agree in writing sit on top of these terms.
What we do
We provide the services described on the Services and Pricing pages: strategy, creative, and replacement creative when an ad stops working. What’s in each package is listed on the Pricing page. Anything not listed is quoted before we start.
Pricing and payment
Prices are in Canadian dollars and don’t include taxes. You pay for each phase before we start it. There’s no retainer and no minimum. Work that isn’t on the Pricing page, including replacement creative, is quoted per job. [payment terms and methods]
Revisions
One round of new ideas is included in every package, built on a different insight from your report. Beyond that round, we quote it. [confirm revision limits for finished ads]
Your materials and our work
You keep ownership of what you give us. [ownership and licence of finished work, including when it transfers (for example on payment)]
Concept work we show on this site, including the Shire Farms ads, is shown with permission and remains the property of its owners.
What we don’t do
We make the ads and you run them, unless we agree otherwise. We don’t run your media. We can’t promise a particular result, because results depend on things outside our control such as your product, your price, and your budget.
Confidentiality

Using this site
The content on this site belongs to Portage or is used with permission. Please don’t copy it or present it as your own. We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be.
Liability
